I had some rifle barrel work that I needed to perform on the lathe.

I built this spider to fit the back side of the spindle.

Two set screws are provided to secure the spider to the spindle.

4 – 3/8-24 socket head cap screws allow for fine adjustments on the barrel. They are drilled and tipped with 1/4 inch brass to keep from marring the barrel.
